Ingredients

10 cups all-purpose apples, peeled, cored and sliced, 1 cup white sugar, 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ cup water, 1 cup quick-cooking oats, 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup packed brown sugar, ¼ teaspoon baking powder, ¼ teaspoon baking soda, ½ cup butter, melted

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Arrange sliced apples in a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a small bowl, whisk together white sugar, 1 tablespoon of flour, and cinnamon, then sprinkle the mixture over the apples and pour water evenly on top. In a large bowl, stir together oats, 1 cup of flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix in melted butter with a fork until the mixture becomes crumbly, then scatter it evenly over the apples. Bake for approximately 45 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
