Peach and Blackberry Cobbler
Ingredients
4 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches, 1 cup fresh blackberries, ¼ cup white sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, ½ cup butter, melted, 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup white sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 cup milk
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a bowl, combine the peaches, blackberries, 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Grease a 9x13-inch glass baking dish with butter, ensuring the bottom and sides are well coated. Whisk together the flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, then stir in the milk until just combined. Pour the batter into the dish and top with the fruit mixture. Bake for about 45 minutes until the top is golden brown.
