Peach Ice Cream
Ingredients
6 large eggs, beaten, 3 ½ cups white sugar, 10 fresh peaches, pitted and chopped, 4 cups heavy cream, 2 cups half-and-half cream, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, ¾ teaspoon salt
Instructions
Whisk eggs and sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Blend peaches until pureed, then stir 5 cups of the puree into the egg mixture. Incorporate the cream, half-and-half, vanilla, and salt, mixing thoroughly. Pour the liquid into an ice cream maker and churn for approximately 20 minutes. Move the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for about 4 hours until firm.
