Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter, 3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, 1 ½ teaspoons salt, 1 ½ teaspoons ground black pepper, 2 tablespoons garlic powder, divided, 1 lemon, juiced

Instructions

Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then brown in the butter for about 5 minutes while flipping frequently. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of garlic powder over the chicken and cook for 2 minutes; flip and repeat with the remaining garlic powder for another 2 minutes. Pour lemon juice over the chicken and continue cooking for 5 to 10 minutes until the meat is no longer pink and reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
