Fresh Pineapple Salsa
Ingredients
1 cup finely chopped fresh pineapple, ¼ cup finely chopped red onion, ¼ cup red bell pepper, chopped, 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced, 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 1 clove garlic, minced (Optional), ½ teaspoon white sugar, ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the pineapple, red onion, bell pepper, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, sugar, and salt. Stir well, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld.
