Burrata Bruschetta with Figs
Ingredients
12 Black Mission figs, halved lengthwise, 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 6 ounces Burrata cheese, thickly sliced, 6 (1/2 inch thick) slices Italian bread, toasted, sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grate. Grill figs skin-side down for 2 to 4 minutes until they swell and bubble. In a small bowl, whisk balsamic vinegar and olive oil together for 1 minute. Top toasted bread with Burrata cheese and the grilled figs. Drizzle with the balsamic mixture and season with sea salt and black pepper to taste.
