Southern Peach Cobbler
Ingredients
½ cup butter, 1 cup white sugar, ¾ cup self-rising flour, ¾ cup milk, 1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches in light syrup
Instructions
Set your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and melt the butter inside a 2-quart baking dish. Whisk sugar and flour together in a bowl, then gradually add milk until smooth. Pour this batter over the melted butter in the dish and top with peaches and their syrup. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until the crust is golden and puffed.
