Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, 3 ripe bananas, mashed, 1 tablespoon milk, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste, 1 cup white sugar, ½ cup butter, softened, 2 large eggs, 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in one bowl, and mix the bananas, milk, and cinnamon in another. Using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, then beat in the eggs one at a time. Stir the banana mixture and the flour mixture into the butter base until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for approximately 70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
