Creamy Pear Pie
Ingredients
⅓ cup white sugar, 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 4 cups peeled and sliced pears, 1 cup sour cream, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, ½ teaspoon lemon extract, ½ teaspoon almond extract, 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). In a large bowl, toss the pears with white sugar and 2 tablespoons of flour, then stir in the sour cream and the vanilla, lemon, and almond extracts. Pour the filling into an unbaked pie shell. For the topping, combine 1/4 cup flour and brown sugar in a small bowl and mix in butter with your fingers until crumbly. Sprinkle the topping over the pie and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for another 45 minutes until the pears are tender.
