Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons butter, ½ small red onion, diced, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1 bunch Swiss chard, stems and center ribs cut out and chopped together, leaves coarsely chopped separately, ½ cup dry white wine, 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, or to taste, 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese, 1 pinch salt to taste

Instructions

Warm olive oil and butter in a large skillet set to medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in white wine and add chard stems, simmering for 5 minutes until soft. Incorporate the chard leaves until wilted. Finish by stirring in lemon juice and Parmesan cheese, then season with salt as desired.
