Ingredients

1 ½ cups persimmon pulp, 1 teaspoon baking soda, ½ cup butter, softened, 1 cup white sugar, 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground cloves, 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 egg, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 cup golden raisins

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a baking sheet. Combine mashed persimmon pulp with baking soda, then mix in an egg. Cream sugar and butter together, then stir in the flour mixture and persimmon mixture until combined. Fold in pecans and raisins, drop scoops of batter onto the sheet, and bake for 13 to 15 minutes. Once cooled, drizzle with a maple glaze made from confectioners' sugar, syrup, butter, and vanilla. Decorate by dripping melted white chocolate over the cookies and topping with a red candy and green belt candy leaves. Let the cookies set until the frosting hardens.
