Freezer Peach Pie Filling
Ingredients
2 ½ cups sliced peaches, ¾ cup white sugar, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1 tablespoon MINUTE Tapioca, 1 dash Dash of nutmeg
Instructions
Combine sliced peaches with sugar, cornstarch, tapioca, and nutmeg in a bowl, tossing until the sugar dissolves. Move the mixture to a 9-inch pie plate lined with foil, cover, and freeze quickly. Once solid, store the foil-wrapped peaches in a freezer bag. To bake, place the frozen peaches into a crust-lined pie plate. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) and bake on the bottom rack for 20 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and finish baking for 30 to 35 minutes until hot.
