Holiday Cranberry-Pomegranate Sauce
Ingredients
1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries, rinsed and sorted, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup orange juice, 1 teaspoon orange zest, ΒΌ teaspoon ground cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks, 1 pomegranate, peeled and seeds separated
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, zest, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes while stirring frequently. Once cooled, fold in the pomegranate seeds and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight. Discard the cinnamon sticks before serving.
