Apple and Pear Crumble
Ingredients
1 ½ cups rolled oats, 1 ½ cups brown sugar, divided, ½ cup all-purpose flour, ½ cup butter, softened, 2 cups peeled and diced apples, 2 cups peeled and diced pears, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ cup sliced almonds, or to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a bowl, combine oats, 3/4 cup brown sugar, flour, and butter until the mixture is crumbly. In a separate bowl, toss apples and pears with the remaining 3/4 cup brown sugar and cinnamon, then layer them in a 9x9-inch glass baking dish. Distribute the oat crumble over the fruit and sprinkle with almonds. Bake for approximately 40 minutes until the top is golden brown.
