Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Form a large rectangle by joining two pieces of puff pastry, then use a third piece to create 1-inch borders. Prick the pastry base with a fork and bake for 15 minutes. Lower the oven temperature to 375 degrees F and press down the center of the pastry shell. Prepare a filling by combining butter, sugar, egg, almond flour, salt, and extracts. Spread the almond paste into the shell, top with pluot wedges, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until set. Once the tart has cooled for 40 minutes, brush the top with a warm glaze made from microwave-heated apricot jam and water.
