Ingredients

1 cup white sugar, ½ cup water, ¼ cup lemon juice, 3 cups cubed seeded watermelon

Instructions

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, water, and lemon juice, stirring until the sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes. Puree the watermelon using a blender or food processor, then stir it into the cooled syrup. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions.
