Ingredients

1 Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored and coarsely shredded, 3 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup golden raisins, 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed, 1 egg, ΒΌ cup milk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine shredded and chopped apples, brown sugar, and golden raisins in a bowl. Place puff pastry on the prepared sheet, roll lightly, and arrange the apple mixture down one side. Fold the pastry over the filling, seal the edges with water, and brush with an egg and milk wash. Cut slits in the crust and bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
