Easy Apple Cinnamon Muffins
Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, ¾ cup white sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 egg, ⅓ cup vegetable oil, ⅓ cup milk, 2 apples - peeled, cored and chopped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and grease or line 6 large muffin cups. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in the egg, oil, and milk, then fold in the chopped apples. Divide the batter into the muffin cups. For the topping, mash together sugar, butter, flour, and cinnamon with a fork and sprinkle over the muffins. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
