Almost No Fat Banana Bread
Ingredients
cooking spray, 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, ¾ cup white sugar, 1 ¼ teaspoons baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 cup banana, mashed, ¼ cup applesauce, 2 egg whites
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease an 8x4-inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Stir in the banana, applesauce, and egg whites until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Transfer the loaf to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
