Ingredients

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) and grease a 9-inch fluted tart pan. In a small bowl, beat sugar and butter until crumbly, then mix in flour and almonds and press the dough into the pan's bottom and sides. Whisk cream cheese until smooth, blend in sugar, egg, and vanilla, and spread the mixture over the crust. Arrange pear slices on top and dust with a blend of sugar, cardamom, and cinnamon. Bake at 425 degrees F for 10 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes until the internal temperature is 160 degrees F (71 degrees C). Cool the tart on a wire rack for 1 hour and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before slicing.
