Ingredients

1 cup water, 1 cup white sugar, 2 slices fresh peach, or more to taste

Instructions

Combine 1 cup of water, sugar, and peach slices in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium and simmer for about 5 minutes, mashing the peaches as you stir until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat, cover, and let the peaches infuse the syrup for 30 minutes before straining. In a separate pot, bring 6 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat and steep tea bags for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags, mix in the peach syrup, and allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Refrigerate until chilled and ready to serve.
