Healthier Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
½ cup butter, 1 kiwi, pureed, ½ cup brown sugar, ½ cup white sugar, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons Mexican vanilla extract, 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 cup toasted oat cereal (such as Cheerios ®), smashed, 2 cups milk chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease two baking sheets. In a large bowl, cream the butter, kiwi, brown sugar, and white sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and toasted oat cereal before gradually stirring them into the wet ingredients. Fold in the chocolate chips and drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until light brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
